What do they bring to a family?
Dogs are great and all, but what do they bring to a family? Dogs bring SO MUCH! For how much dogs are loved by people, they can offer protection over the house and over the kids in their family. Most people that are trying to cause harm will tend to stay away if there is a dog around. Dogs can also bring emotional support. They do not have to be a certified support animal to help their owner when they are feeling down. Dogs show that they have feelings and a lot of them can tell what their owner is feeling too. The dog wants to comfort you just like you comfort them.
Imagine having a toy for the kids that never gets boring, willing to play, and doesn't get tired of it. That is what having a dog is like! Most dogs are great with kids and love the attention, love, and playfulness they bring. Along with keeping the kids entertained, they show the kids how to take responsibility as well. Giving kids small chores and tasks, like walking the dog, feeding the dog, and even giving the dog a bath or picking up their waste. This helps the kids learn how to be responsible and help around the house.
